Day 03: DELHI
Today there will be a half-day tour of New Delhi. Designed and built by
the British in the 1920's, it is a city of wide boulevards, impressive
government buildings, green parks and gardens. You will visit two monuments
from Delhi's past – Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar – then
return to your hotel via the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing
India Gate and Parliament House.
Day 04: AGRA

visit the Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Moghul Empire
built in red sandstone. Also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the
Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; and Chandni
Chowk, the bustling and colourful market of the old city. In the afternoon,
drive to Agra (200 km/41/2 hours) and check in to The Oberoi Amarvilás.
Day 05: AGRA
In the morning visit Agra Fort before continuing to the magnificent Taj
Mahal, an eternal monument to the enduring love of the Emperor Shah Jahan
for his wife Mumtaz. The afternoon is at leisure. You may like to take
an optional excursion to the tranquil Bharatpur Sanctuary (65 km from
Agra), teeming with exotic birdlife (payable locally).

to the style of the Maharajas of days gone by. In the afternoon, enjoy
a city tour of Jaipur including the City Palace Museum, resplendent with
its collection of royal robes, carpets and armoury. Also visit the Jantar
Mantar Observatory, built in 1726. Finally there will be a photo stop

takes its name from the 10th century fortress, which looms above the forest,
making Ranthambore a very unusual area where a natural present meets an
historic past.
