Day 1 Bangalore
Transfer to airport and board your flight to Bangalore. Upon arrival,
check in to your hotel with assistance. Go for a city sightseeing tour
in the afternoon, visiting the Vidhan Soudha, Cubbon Park and Lalbagh.
At sunset enjoy the city’s nightlife and later return back to
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 Bangalore -- Hassan
Drive to Hassan in the morning and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon enjoy a tour to Belur and Halebid and return to hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 3 Mysore
Proceed for Mysore in the morning. Here you will visit the great Mysore
Palace, which is the official residence of the Wodeyar Mahararaja's.
Also visit the temple and the statue of Nandi-the Bull up on the Chamundi
Hill. In the afternoon hope around the colorful Devaraja fruit and vegetable
market. Overnight at Mysore.
Day 4 Mysore
This morning you will be touring to Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace at Srirangapattanam
and the Ranganathittoo Bird Sanctuary.
In the afternoon drive to Somnathpur to see the beautifully carved
Hoysala temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Mysore -- Coorg
Today you will drive to Coorg in the morning, visiting the Tibetan settlement
at Bylguppe en-route. On arrival check in to your hotel and spend the
rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 Coorg
In the morning enjoy a walk through the plantations with a picnic lunch
in the afternoon beside the Cauvery River. One can also enjoy angling
here.
Day 7 Coorg -- Calicut
Drive across the Western Ghats to Calicut in the morning. En-route,
visit a local “hookah” making unit. You will be transferred
to hotel Taj Residency on arrival. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8 Calicut -- Cochin
Proceed for the port city Cochin, where you will visit Beypore and witness
its hand-made sea-faring vessels. Also visit the elephant stables at
Guruvayoor.
In the evening enjoy a relaxing cruise on the tranquil backwaters and
also visit the great Chinese fishing nets.
Day 9 Cochin
Take a sightseeing tour of Cochin-- visiting the Dutch Palace, a walk
through the spice trading centers at Mattancherry , Jewish Synagogue,
and St Francis' Church.
In the evening witness Kathakali, the ancient dance-drama of Kerala
and later spend the night at hotel.
Day 10 Cochin -- Kumarakom
Take a short drive this morning to Puthenangadi, wherefrom you will
proceed to Kumarakom by boat and check in to hotel for overnight stay.
In the afternoon relaxes or take an Ayurvedic massage or explore the
nearby bird sanctuary.
Day 11 Kumarom-- Riceboat
Today morning you will be on board a riceboat and spent the entire day
cruising along the backwaters and observing village life along the banks.
Overnight at the riceboat. Accommodation on the boat is simple but comfortable,
with modern en suite facilities.
Day 12 Housboat -- Trivandrum
This morning disembark at Thotapally and arrive Trivandrum city.
In the afternoon enjoy city sightseeing tour.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 Trivandrum
Drive to Trivandrum Airport and board your flights to onward destination.
